                地形β螺旋理论和黑潮入侵三维分支结构(Yang Dezhou et al., GRL, 2018)
杨德周研究员与美国伍兹霍尔海洋研究所黄瑞新教授等合作,在边界流入侵陆架机制研究方面取得重要突破,撰写的“地形β螺旋和黑潮向岸入侵”在Geophysical Research Letters期刊发表(2018)。 世界大洋及边缘海的物质和能量交换对近海动力环境和生态系统具有重要影响,长期以来大洋水入侵陆架边缘海的形式及其支撑理论一直是国际上悬而未决的重要科学问题。文章首次提出了边界流入侵陆架的地形β螺旋动力学理论,回答和解决了上述科学问题并填补了大洋环流理论和陆架动力学理论之间长期缺失的一环。为边界流分叉提供了一种全新的理论解释。研究成果对促进西边界流与边缘海相互作用的深入研究、更深入理解大洋对陆架动力环境和生态环境变化的影响具有重要科学意义和应用价值。

       目前正与澳大利亚合作,进行太平洋和印度洋交汇区动力过程与机制、东海陆架动力学理论和物理-生态耦合模式的研究,欢迎有志于赤道动力学、陆架动力学理论和数值模拟的学生报考。
