动物多样性格局形成及维持机制
动物对人类活动的生态响应

聚焦西南山地野生动物多样性格局形成、维持和保护，整合动物生态学、生物地理学和保护生物学等多学科手段，开展生态关键区野生动物多样性调查与动态监测、时空格局与成因、人类活动（如：铁路建设、水电开发等重大工程）影响评估与保护等方面研究，阐明人类活动和全球变化对野生动物的影响。

① 孟加拉虎、亚洲象等旗舰濒危野生动物种群生态与保护生物学研究；

② 人类活动背景下野生动物多样性格局形成、维持和变化规律研究；

③ 人与野生动物冲突及缓解对策研究。

主持（过）国家重点研发计划（课题）、科技部基础资源调查专项（子课题）、战略科技先导专项（子课题）、国家自然科学基金面上项目和青年基金项目、云南省基础研究重点项目（课题）等重要课题，并获得中国科学院“西部之光—西部青年学者”和云南省高层次人才培养支持计划“青年拔尖人才”等人才项目资助。任中国动物学会兽类学分会委员（2023—）、中国生态学会动物生态专业委员会委员（2022—）。相关成果发表在Conservation Biology、Diversity and Distributions、eLife、Science of the Total Environment等学科领域Top期刊。
