Dr. Jiayu Xin, associate professor, was born in 1981. He was financially supported by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan and obtained the Doctor Degree in Energy Science in 2009 from Kyoto University. He started to work as an assistant in Prof. Suojiang Zhang’s group, Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese  Academy of Sciences from 2009.

Dr. Xin has published more than 40 peer reviewed papers and 20 patents, and received Youth Award of Enze Min Energy and Chemical Engineering Award, The Young Star of Scientific Award and so on. His current research interests include ionic liquid catalysis, biomass conversion and supercritical fluids.
