Xiao Yuansheng, PhD. graduated from the Hunan University of science and technology in 2004 in Dalian Institute of chemical physics, PhD, works so far. Is mainly engaged in traditional Chinese medicine and other high-throughput purification of complex system and its methodology.

Personal interests primarily focus on the development of complex systems with unknown two-dimensional orthogonal separation method and target high performance compound purification. Development of multidimensional prediction and optimization method of preparation results unknown system, improving the prediction of unknown separation analysis of complex system behavior to achieve high throughput preparation efficiency and improve the practical value of the preparation components. Physico-chemical characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine compounds and even activity, development of an efficient standard and reference substance and base preparation of methods and technologies, improve the efficiency of high-throughput fabrication, preparation method and a corresponding active compounds.

After work, using BCB completed a complex system of liquid phase retention time forecasts software design and development, to Python language complete liquid phase separation and UV and mass spectra of two-dimensional and three-dimensional data such as script development, and complete Php language laboratory development and application of electronic experimental record. Familiar with the Waters and large international companies such as Agilent mainstream liquid-phase and basic theory of mass spectra and structure, and depending on the experimental platform of reform and construction in order to meet the test requirement.

By applying for and preside over the national 863 projects and special projects such as Eleven-Five 3, conclusion 3. 2 hosted the National Natural Science Foundation, conclusion 1, at the opening of 1. Other projects involved more than charge and completed more than one project. Published dozens of papers, application or patent number.


Research Areas

Focus on data minining with components and composition in Tranditional Chinese medicine(TCM). Deconvolution of the chemical constituents of TCM by high throughput purification. With computer-aided optimization, fast separation condition will be constructed in systematic separation in TCM components.

1. Separation and analysis of the chemical constituents of TCM
Study on separation and analysis of complex systems such as traditional Chinese medicine method and high-throughput chemical constituents of traditional Chinese medicine preparation. Chemical constituents of traditional Chinese medicine preparation, preparation and purification system goals.

2. Database construction of chemical constituents of TCM
Preparation and purification of high-throughput chemical constituents of traditional Chinese medicine, to databases as a tool, developed by chromatography data-processing methods, study on the chemical constituents of traditional Chinese medicine based on database searches online qualitative and quantitative methods.

3. Quality control of TCM based on data analysis
Data analysis and data mining techniques, composition, content and structure of the chemical constituents of traditional Chinese medicine and development of new technologies and new methods of quality control
