Research Areas

New W-Al alloy and W-Al-C solid solution
The activities are developments on W-Al alloy and W-Al-C solid solution. The research includes the preparation, Structure characterization, mechanical property, and development of the relative the high performance structural material.
 
High-performance light alloy-based composite materials
The research focuses on establishing processing, microstructure, property relationships of materials with selected combination of compositions and particles reinforcement types. The aims to define the optimum process parameters for consolidating Al and Mg composite powders and for producing near-net-sharp components of Al/Mg-based composite materials.
