General

Qi Wang is an associate professor at Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT-CAS) in Beijing, China. She received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China in 2015. In 2010, she received a 1-year fellowship from INRIA under the joint program with the Chinese Academy of Sciences to pursue her research within the SWING team of INRIA, at CITI laboratory, INSA Lyon, France. She visited IRIT laboratory at University of Toulouse because she was a recipient of the 2012 EIFFEL doctoral fellowship from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 


Research Areas

Her research interests include algorithms and protocols for intelligent wireless networks and performance evaluation of wireless networks for delay sensitive applications. She has authored more than 30 referred publications at prestigious international conferences and journals like INFOCOMIWQoSICCLCNIEEE Transactions on industry InformaticsAd hoc networks, etc., and has co-published a Chinese monograph on Internet of intelligence in 2022. She won the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award by Chinese Institute of Command and Controlin 2022.
