1. Genesis of superlarge germanium deposits hosted in coal seams (including trace element geochemistry of coal);

During June 2010 - December 2010, being a visiting scholar, Hua-wen Qi went to Centre of Brest, French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea (IFREMER), and collaborated with Dr. Olivier Rouxel to carry out study of germanium isotope geochemistry.
