研究领域

        现为中国科学院国家天文台首席研究员,银河系三维结构团组负责人。
        本科毕业于北京大学,2005年于美国密歇根大学获天体物理学博士学位。其后于哈佛大学做博士后及PI研究员,从事天体物理学研究,曾获美国宇航局爱因斯坦学者奖,及密歇根大学杰出校友奖Ralph B Baldwin Prize. 2010年回国,在中科院国家天文台任****研究员,并于2014年获得国家杰出青年基金支持,2015年获科技部“中青年科技创新领军人才”,2016年获“全国优秀科技工作者”。2015年参与筹建国科大天文学院,并作为副院长负责教学等工作。
        主要研究兴趣是黑洞等致密天体和恒星族的多波段观测。目前正致力于使用我国的重大科学装置LAMOST光谱巡天,结合海量多波段数据,利用云计算手段,试图解答关于致密天体和恒星研究的一些基本问题。其于2013年发表在《自然》杂志的第一作者文章,首次测定了X射线极亮天体中黑洞的质量,被认为“摘取了此领域的圣杯”,并入选22个“2013年中国科学家代表性成果”之一。其于2015年发表在《自然》杂志的第一作者文章,首次在超软X射线源中发现相对论重子喷流,揭示了黑洞吸积与喷流形成的新模式,并入选“2015年中国十大科技进展”。
