Design, synthesis and product development of functional lubricating materials such as synthetic base oil, high performance additives and lubricants.
Preparation and characterization of nanocomposites, study of their action mechanism on friction interface.
Research on green chemical synthesis process and its industrial demonstration to meet the needs of coal chemical and fine chemical industry.

Ph.D of Materials Science, graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2002
Experience
From June 2002 to May 2004, PetroChina Lanzhou lubricating oil R&D center engaged in postdoctoral research.
From June 2004 to April 2012, PetroChina Lanzhou lubricating oil R&D center worked as Deputy director.
Since July 2012, working as Professor in Shanghai Advanced research Institute, CAS, in charge of green chemical engineer technology research and development center, and as director of Laboratory for advanced lubricating materials.
