Research Areas
Fan’s research focuses on theoretical/computational studies on the structure and reaction mechanism of homogeneous and heterogeneous systems.
Research Interests:
(1) The reaction mechanism of hydrogenation and other reactions in homogeneous system.
(2) Water dissociation and other important chemical processes on metal-oxide surface.
(3) The structure and reactivity of clusters.
(4) The structure of coal, and the chemical transformation (pyrolysis, combustion and no-oxidative transformation) at high temprature.
