Research Areas

Prof. Boshun Wan, was born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province in 1963. In July 1985, graduated from the Department of chemistry of Nanjing Normal University with a bachelor's degree. Received his master's degree and doctor's degree in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1988 and 1998 respectively. In 2006, worked as a visiting professor in Northwestern University. From 1998 to 2018, served as the leader and doctoral supervisor of the research group of catalytic heterocycle synthesis of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics. Since 2019, he has been the doctoral supervisor, strategic and academic consultant of biomimetic catalytic synthesis research group of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (http://www.lbcs.dicp.ac.cn). It is mainly engaged in asymmetric catalysis, organometallic chemistry, catalytic heterocycle synthesis, high-performance materials synthesis for aerospace industry. He was invited to be the reviewer of academic journals such as Angew Chem, JACS, Org Lett, Chem Commun, etc. Students are warmly welcome to apply for master's and doctor's degrees. Warmly welcome all kinds of enterprises to come to discuss cooperation in research and development of related technologies and products.
