The family Lauraceae is significant in tropical and subtropical forests worldwide and many species are harvested for their timber, particularly in East Asia. Based on the experience of gene function analysis in model plants, I try to combinate the molecular evolution analysis, gene function study, and tree speciation research together within the family Lauracea. Research Areas

Based on the complete chloroplast genome sequences and restriction-site associated genome sequences, the phylogenetic tree of Lauraceae species will be successfully reconstructed.
