Experience

Prof. Yongbing Tang received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Processing Engineering from Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR) in 2007. In the same year, he joined the Center of Super Diamond and Advanced Films (COSDAF) in the City University of Hong Kong as a Senior Research Fellow. In September 2013, he joined Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was selected as one of the Shenzhen overseas high-level talents, funded by "Peacock" plan in 2014. He has been working in the field of chemistry and materials science for more than 10 years.

Prof. Yongbing Tang  has published more than 130 papers (citation>5000)  including Nat. Chem., Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Nano Lett., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater. (13 of which are selected as cover articles). In addition, about 400 patents have been applied, including 254 invention patents, 47 PCT international patents, 12 US and other countries’ patents. 120 patents granted, 23 patents realized industrial transformation.
