Fundamental and applied research on algae. Topics ranging from photosynthesis, biosynthesis of lipids and carotenoids, growth physiology of high-density algal culture, photobioreactor system design, and applications of algal mass culture technology for biofuels and chemicals, and for environmental bioremediation.
