主要贡献:

       建立了直接定量研究生物固氮的近自然15N2气体气密控制系统,解决了生物固氮直接定量难题;创建了生物质炭化技术,解决了生物质资源化利用问题;建立了分根法研究稀土生物效应的方法,解决了长期困扰稀土研究中磷-镧共存时的沉淀问题;创建了研究根系呼吸的分根生长集气箱法,使根系正常生长状态下根系呼吸的测定成为现实。提出了秸秆“旱重水轻”的农田固碳减排管理策略,已由中科院办公厅呈报中央办公厅。研制成功秸秆制炭设备(授权专利号200920232191.9)和野外智能控制植物生长系统(授权发明专利ZL 200910232184.3)。

       2014年被美国Texas A& M大学(部分资助),丹麦技术大学(全额资助)和2017年被美国Auburn大学(部分资助)邀请讲学。
