Since 1987, I’ve been always working on remote sensing data processing, parameter retrieval, and validation of remote sensing, have managed/participated more than 30 so-called 863 projects, National Key Projects, Projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Projects of Knowledge Innovation of CAS, and international cooperation projects; made extensive research on land surface parameter retrieval, information extraction and analysis, and remote sensing validation; accumulated a wealth of theory and experience on them; published more than 70 research papers at home and overseas, co-published 2 research books, and won the award of First Medal of 2005 Beijing Science & Technology Competition. By the way, I have been and now am still the journal reviewers of International Journal of Remote Sensing, Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Waves, Journal of Remote Sensing, Journal of Image and Graphics, Remote Sensing Technology and Applications, Journal of Electronics & Information Technology, etc.; I am also the member of the committee of arid land geography, the review expert on Field of Earth Observation and Navigation, National High Technology Development Plan, 863 Plan , and the review expert of National Natural science Foundation of China.
