Research Interests
1) Development of a cost-effective and environmental sustainable electrochemical process for mineralizing and degrading refractory organic contaminants, specially the preparation of three-dimensional electrodes (i.e. particle electrodes with high specific areas), synthesis of novel nano-electro-catalyst, as well as the study on their electrochemical mechanisms.
2) Resource recovery: potassium recovery from Nanofiltration or Reverse Osmosis concentrates using membrane electrolysis and magnesium potassium phosphate crystallization.
