My research interest is focused mainly on phylogeny, phylogeography and conservation genectics on Taxus, and DNA barcoding, phylogeny, speciation and adatpive evolution of Rhododendron. My recent works include (1) exploring levels of genetic diversity, population structure and phylogeographic pattern of Taxus wallichiana, (2) studying phylogenetic relationships, specieation mechanism and adaptive evolution dynamic and (3) investigating effectiveness and capacity of plant DNA barcoding and use this tool to identify species of Rhododendron and Taxaceae.
