目前实验室主要研究方向为新型微生物及其生态功能和潜在应用。利用跨学科、多尺度的技术方法,从单细胞到微生物组,从微宇宙模拟培养、田间定位实验到大尺度原位生态环境,深入研究微生物碳、氮、磷循环及其相互作用,温室气体(甲烷和氧化亚氮)的微生物代谢过程和调控机制、以及产氧反硝化关键功能微生物类群和其生态效应。同时,挖掘和培养具有重要生态功能的微生物,探索其在作物健康、温室气体减排、污染物降解和废弃物处理转化等领域的高效应用。
