PhD in particle physics from Cornell University in 2011. He is currently an Associate Professor of Physics at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. He has worked on the BESII, CLEO-c, and CMS experiments before joining ATLAS. He is the team leader of IHEP ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITk) Phase 2 upgrade project. He is also the working group convenor of WG6 of DRD3 focusing on the SiC detector R&D for future collider experiments.
