主要从事现代海洋沉积环境、沉积过程以及相关遥感技术应用研究，开展气候变化和人类活动影响下有关河口、近岸、陆架海和大洋海区海洋沉积环境响应机制及其资源环境效应等调查研究工作。

招收攻读海洋地质、环境科学和地质工程等学科方向的硕士和博士研究生，欢迎具有海洋、地质、地理科学以及遥感、地理信息系统等相关专业背景的毕业生报考。
