天然产物的生物合成与生物转化

    自然界的植物和真菌经过长期的生物进化，产生了极为特异的生物合成网络---次生代谢，由此造就了琳琅满目异彩纷呈的小分子天然产物。这些天然化合物作为生态系统的化学语言，往往只存在于某些特定的生物类群，从而赋予该物种特有的化学标识。除此以外，天然产物的药用和保健特性对人类健康需求至关重要。

我们主要运用有机化学、生物化学与分子生物学等学科知识与实验技术，进行天然产物的生物合成与生物转化研究。一方面针对植物化学国家重点实验室发现的具有显著药理活性的天然化合物，解析其生物合成途径与酶分子机制，获得新的天然产物类似物进行生物活性筛选；另一方面发现新酶催化并探究其生物催化与生物转化应用潜力。开展的研究工作如下：
