研究领域

丙型肝炎病毒(HCV)能导致急性和慢性肝炎以及肝癌,并且已成为一个世界性的人类健康问题。目前在全世界有超过1.7亿人感染了丙型肝炎病毒,在中国则达到了3800万。现在还没有预防HCV感染的疫苗,而干扰素治疗作为目前唯一被批准的治疗手段有效率不高并且有强烈的副作用。由于缺乏一个合适的细胞培养模型,HCV的研究长期以来受到很大的阻碍。最近在HCV感染的细胞培养模型方面的突破性进展为研究HCV的整个生命周期提供了一个极为有效的工具和手段。我们实验室的主要研究方向是利用这个新建立的细胞培养模型在分子水平上研究HCV感染的生物学机制以及病毒-宿主之间的相互作用。我们希望通过进一步了解病毒感染宿主细胞的机制以及宿主是如何限制病毒的感染,我们将能够找到更好的途径和手段来预防和治疗HCV的感染。
