朱茂炎:男,1963年,安徽省望江县。中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所研究员、学术委员会主任,中国科学院大学岗位教授,南京大学生物演化与环境科教融合中心责任教授,德国哥廷根科学院外籍通讯院士。发表包括Science/Nature/PNAS论文220余篇、专著3部。
