Yan Zhou,  Professor of State Key Laboratory of Catalysis,  Dalian 

Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.  She received her

 PhD degree from Xiamen University at 2011. She has been working at Max-

Planck-Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids as a visiting research scholar 

during 2009-2012.  Her research focuses on size and shape controlled synthesis 

of solid catalysts and in-situ characterizations of working catalysts using electron 

microscopy and X-ray spectroscopy techniques. She has publised more than 

20 papers on《Nature Catalysis》,《Angewandte Chemie International Edition》, 

et al catalysis and materials journals.  She is currently in 

charge of 1 project from Chinese National Science Foundation. 







Research Areas

Her research focuses on size and shape controlled synthesis of solid catalysts and in-situ characterizations of working catalysts using electron microscopy and X-ray spectroscopy techniques.
