Research Areas
In the past 10 years my research focused on studying tree species’ eco-physiological response to environmental change (e.g. light, soil water, nutrient) and climate change (e.g. UV-B radiation, temperature and CO2, et al.). The studied tree species are from boreal, warm-temperate and subtropical forests, and we mainly measured plants’ physiological functions, e.g. photosynthesis, chlorophyll fluorescence, water potential, biomass formation, et al. The most recently ongoing project is to test tree species’ eco-physiological traits in response to simulated nitrogen deposition in a China’s warm-temperate broadleaved forest.
