General

Research efforts center around studies of the chemical synthesis and properties of nanomaterials. Current work in magnetic nanomaterials includes the shape-controlled synthesis and new application of magnetic nanomaterials in electronic devices and spintronics.

Research Areas

  1. Preparation of monodispersive nanomaterials, especially in magnetic nanomaterials.
  2. Self-assembly approaches to nanoscale electronic and photonic devices
  3. High-frequency, spin-transport, and  magneto-optical properties of magnetic nanomaterials
  4. Nanomagnetism using micromagnetic simulation and Monto Carlo method
