Research Interests

My main research interests include utilizing of ionic liquids (ILs) in green industrial processes and sustainable technology, studying the interaction mechanisms of IL systems and developing better theories and methods on molecular design of ionic liquids. My current research is focusing on the following areas:

2)  Physical-chemical properties of ILs

      i.  Study on the physiochemical properties of ILs

      ii. Expansion of ILs database

3)  Applications of ILs

      i.  Separation and transformation of biomass in IL

      ii. Preparation and application of cellulose composite materials in IL
