Work Experience

Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Florida (Gainesville, FL) 04/2009 –03/2013. Synthesize CdS/CdSe nanorods and then achieve a nanorods assembly that can be prepared with large dimensions with a good lateral alignment of the nanorods.

Postdoctoral Fellow, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) (Troy, NY) 02/2008–04/2009.Improve thermoelectric properties of low-bandgap semiconductor based on nanotechnology.

Research Assistant, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (Changchun, China) 09/2002 – 12/ 2007.The application of noble metallic nanomaterials (gold, silver and platinum) in surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), heterogeneous biocatalysis, superhydrophobic surface and electrochemistry.
