Ximing Shao obtained his Ph.D degree in Cell Biology from Sichuan University in 2012. In the same year he joined Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018. His research is mainly focused on cell division and drug discovery, and in this field he has published over 10 high quality original articles.
