  3. Short courses on skills and strategies of the reduction and analysis of 1) NIR imaging and spectroscopic data obtained with ESO-NTT based on xdimsum; 2) data taken with SMA, the Sub-millimeter Array.
  4. Contributions to short-term intensive training of graduate and undergraduate students from different universities and institutes as potential observers at the NAOC-XL station.
  5. Intensive courses for graduate students on various topics such as the observational study of T Tauri stars including CTTS and WTTS, Herbig Ae/Be stars, CVs and pulsating stars especially those of the RR Lyrae type.
  6. Short courses on skills and strategies of photometric and spectroscopic observations, hints on photometric and spectroscopic data reduction and analysis based on IRAF.
  7. Systematic training of a team of research assistants and graduate students for routine observations with SLT at the Lu-Lin Observatory of the National Central University at Taiwan.
