1996年11月起在美国 University of Massachusetts Medical School 从事研究工作,先后担任博士后 (Post-doctoral research fellow), 讲师 (Instructor), 和研究助理教授 (Research assistant professor)。2008年底入选中国科学院“****”,2009年起担任中国科学院动物研究所研究员,博士生导师。
