我们利用中子散射、电磁输运、比热测量、高精度同步辐射X射线衍射(XRD)、缪子自旋弛豫(muSR)、共振非弹性X射线散射(RIXS)等先进实验手段，着重关注研究以下关联电子材料中的前沿物理问题：
1. 铁基超导体中磁性物理、电子向列相及其超导微观机理；
2. 铜氧化物高温超导材料自旋激发谱及输运特性；
3. 准一维自旋梯材料自旋相互作用及其微观机制；
4. 重费米子材料中的量子临界及自旋涨落规律；
5. 量子自旋液体材料中的物理相图与量子涨落机制。

目前协助培养博士生3名、硕士生2名，本组毕业学生在美国加州伯克利分校、美国莱斯大学、瑞士保罗谢勒研究所等世界顶级研究机构继续博士后研究。
拟每年招收硕博连读生1-2人，欢迎具有物理、材料、化学领域背景的学生报考，本组研究生每年有多次在世界先进的中子源、缪子源、同步辐射光源等大科学设施开展实验研究的机会。
