Research Interests and Research Areas

    My research focuses on theoretical and applied computational geodynamics. Details are followed as below.

     - Crustal/lithospheric stress and strain evolutions during earthquake cycles 

     - Rheology and crustal/lithospheric geodynamic processes 

     - Numerical modeling on fault interactions, and earthquake triggering 

     - Earthquakes and subduction processes 

     - Numerical modeling on geological evolution of salt structures 

     - Stresses, pore pressures and fluid flow around salt structures            

     - Geomechanics, rock and soil mechanics, and wellbore stability near salt bodies 

     - Numerical modeling on metallogenic geodynamics
