Dr. Huang recieved his PhD in Soil Science in 2011 from the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His PhD research focused on the nitrogen cycling in a typical agro-ecosystem with a summer maize and winter wheat rotation in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain, which is one the most important grain production bases in China. His recent research interests are mainly on the complex interactions between soil aggregates, soil biota and carbon & nitrogen cycling in the terrestrial ecosystem especially for the riparian ecosystem.
Research Areas
Evolution of soil structure and its association with carbon and nitrogen cycling.
