Mengxi (Robin) Yang


Bio: Mengxi (Robin) YANG (Ph.D. in Business Administration, Tsinghua SEM) is an Associate Professor and a Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Economics and Management and MOE Social Science Laboratory of Digital Economic Forecasts and Policy Simulation, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (AACSB-accredited business school). Robin has been appointed as an Associate at Clare Hall, University of Cambridge, starting in May 2023, and as a Visiting Honorary Associate at Cambridge Judge Business School, starting in September 2022. He is also a Postgraduate Supervisor (Innovation Management Area) at Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research (SDC). From 2017 to 2018, Robin served as a visiting doctoral student at Rutgers University in the United States for a duration of one year. His research interests include leadership and ethics, AI, creativity and his work has been published in academic journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology(2x), Human Relations(2x)Human Resource ManagementJournal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Business Ethics and Journal of Business Research(4x)


He holds positions as an Associate Editor for Chinese Management Studies and the Journal of Electronic Business & Digital Economics and serves on the international editorial board of the Asia Pacific Business Review. He is also a principle investigator on several research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and several professional companies in China. Robin has also been awarded the Certificate of Recognition of Young Elite Scientist Sponsorship Program (2024-2026) by the Beijing Association for Science and Technology. Over the past years, Robin has been teaching the Core course such as Management, Organizations and Artificial Intelligence, Management and Leadership in the Age of Digital Intelligence and Management Psychology for UCAS’s full-time postgraduate program. Robin received “MED Junior Faculty Best Paper Award” in 2019 Academy of Management Annual Meeting and was named as an “Ant Research Fellow” by ANT GROUP.
