研究方向为EB病毒潜伏感染与激活机理及相关免疫代谢机制。针对EB病毒感染的慢性活动性淋巴细胞症和嗜血细胞症等，建立了人微量淋巴细胞永生化建立细胞系的新方法，建立了CAEBV病人来源的T与NK细胞系；发现病毒潜伏膜蛋白1（LMP1）通过蛋白酶体途径促进RIG-I信号通路降解和抑制干扰素β分泌的新机制；鉴定发现其中主要发挥调控作用的micorRNA。正牵头建设国家“十四五”细胞谱系大科学研究设施项目。获省部级二等奖1项，三等奖3项，国家发明专利近10项。在相关国际刊物发表SCI论文五十余篇。
