Peng Guo got his Ph.D. title in Stockholm University with the supervision of Prof. Xiaodong Zou. His main project is about structure determination and prediction of zeolites by electron crystallography and powder X-ray diffraction. The main contributions during his Ph.D. study were to a) solve a complicated zeolite structure, named ZSM-25, which was synthesized 35 years ago; b) predict a series of hypothetical structures with the same structural coding embedded in the ZSM-25. Finally this work had been published in Nature in 2015. He joined DICP as an associated professor in 2016 directly after his Ph.D. study.
