研究领域

        人类的认知功能取决于大脑中神经元所形成的精细网络,而神经元间的交流则依赖于突触传递。突触功能障碍与阿尔兹海默病、帕金森病等在内的诸多神经退行性疾病密切相关。因而,突触蛋白的精准分布、突触信号传递在时间和空间上的精细调控是神经生物学研究的中心议题。
        陈宇博士长期专注于神经系统突触发育、可塑性的分子基础,以及神经退行性疾病(如阿尔兹海默病)的病理机制等方面的研究。他发现了一系列调控树突和突触功能的重要蛋白,提示了在神经系统发育和功能执行过程中神经信号从细胞表面受体通过支架蛋白、激酶等向细胞内传递的关键步骤。其研究方向主要包括以下几个方面:
(1)突触的基础研究:对细胞表面受体、支架蛋白、激酶等介导的突触信号进行研究,结合光遗传调控手段,解释突触发育和可塑性调控过程中的动态变化及其分子基础。
(2) 神经退行性疾病机制研究:通过运用不同的疾病模型,包括非人灵长类动物模型,研究突触功能在阿尔兹海默病病变条件下发生的变化,以及内在的分子生物学机制和关键信号通路,提示可能的干预靶点。
(3) 阿尔兹海默病生物标志物和干预措施研究:利用交叉学科手段,研究适用于中国人群的、易于采集和测量的生物标志物,并发展可能的干预手段;同时协助临床医务工作者实施国际规范的操作流程,提升在诊断、样品采集和分析方面的水平。
