Experience

   
Work Experience

In 1987, the Institute of Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences engaged in research on regional climate change. From 1992 to 

1997, he worked in the field of climate change simulation and atmospheric remote sensing applications at NASA's Goddard Space 

Research Institute (GISS). 1997 Researcher at the Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 1997 to 2003, he 

successively served as the director and deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Guizhou Province, and the assistant 

director of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (temporary). From 2003 to 2011, he served as the Deputy Leader of 

the National Medium and Long Term Science and Technology Development Planning Strategy Research Group, Deputy Director General of the 

High tech and Industrialization Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Deputy Director General of the Basic Research 

Department. From 2011 to 2016, served as the Director General of the National Remote Sensing Center and the Director of the China Secretariat 

of the GEO Organization. 

From 2016 to 2022, He served as the Deputy Director General the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.He is now a senior researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Resources of the Chinese 

Academy of Sciences, director general of the UAV Application and Control Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and director 

general of the Civil Aviation Low Altitude Geographic Information and Route Key Laboratory of Civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC).
