Research Areas

  • Investigations of deep Earth’s minerals at high-pressure and high-temperature in an effort to build mantle mineral composition model.
  • Exploring iron-light elements high-pressure and high-temperature phase relations to understand the composition and evolution of the planetary terrestrial cores.
  • High pressure and temperature electrical resistivity measurements on iron and its alloy, exploring possible geodynamo energy source in deep Earth.
  • Carbon solubility in lower mantle minerals (e.g. silicate perovskite, Magnesiowustite) to explore the storage mode of carbon reservoir in the Earth’s mantle.
  • Phase relation of minerals in subducted crust plate as they undergo complex phase transition and their relationship with geophysical interested phenomenon.
