刘光慧,博士,研究员,中国医学科学院学部委员,国际生理科学联合会生理学院会士,中国科学院动物研究所学术委员会副主任,膜生物学国家重点实验室副主任,中国科学院干细胞与再生医学科学数据中心主任,北京干细胞与再生医学研究院副院长、学术委员会主任,国家自然科学基金委创新研究群体项目负责人,杰出青年基金项目获得者。

  2002年毕业于北京大学医学部,获理学学士学位;2007年于中国科学院生物物理研究所获得理学博士学位;2007-2012年先后在美国斯克利普斯研究所(The Scripps Research Institute)和索尔克生物学研究所(Salk Institute for Biological Studies)从事博士后(Research Associate)研究;2012年加入中国科学院生物物理研究所,任研究员(PI);2019年至今任中国科学院动物研究所研究员(PI)。

研究领域


1. 人类衰老的遗传和表观遗传信息解码
       结合灵长类动物模型、人干细胞、基因编辑、全基因组筛选、单细胞测序、多组学分析及人工智能,研究人类衰老和老年疾病的遗传和表观遗传学基础,探索延缓衰老(如脑衰老和心血管衰老)和防治老年疾病(如神经退行性疾病和动脉粥样硬化症)的方法和手段,以期实现健康老龄化(healthy aging)的目标。

2.基于干细胞技术的人类疾病机理研究和精准治疗
       利用患者诱导性多能干细胞(iPSC)和体外创建的疾病胚胎干细胞(ESC),结合细胞、类器官定向分化和移植技术,在功能基因组水平研究人类疾病的分子机理及新型靶标;发展基于干细胞技术的药物筛选和评价体系;研发针对器官衰老和特定疾病靶标的候选药物(化合物);推动干细胞和衰老相关技术的临床转化。

3.新型基因编辑手段和基因治疗技术的发展和应用
       以HDAdV、telHDAdV、TTALE和CRISPR/Cas9为基础,发展安全高效地编辑人类基因组的新方法,开发以去衰老和促再生为目标的干细胞和基因治疗新策略,为罕见疾病的基因修复、人类干细胞的遗传增强、以及衰老相关疾病的干预提供科学依据。
