Ying Liu is currently a professor at the School of Economics and Management and MOE Social Science Laboratory of Digital Economic Forecasts and Policy Simulation, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include digital economy, data analysis, Fintech and E-commerce. His work has been published in academic journals such as R&D Management, Annals of Operations Research, Transport Policy, and SCIENTIA SINICA Informationis.
He is a principle investigator on several research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and several professional companies in China. Over the past years, He has been teaching the course such as Business data analysis, Management economics, and Internet finance for UCAS’s full-time postgraduate program. He received the awards such as "Best Scholar of Alibaba Young Scholar Support Program" "CCF-Tencent Rhinoceros Research Fund of the Chinese Computer Society", "Zhu Li Yuehua Excellent Teacher of the Chinese Academy of Sciences", and "Excellent Paper of the Chinese Academy of Management Annual Conference". His research were introduced into the Wind Database, and were reported by MIT Technology Review, Economic Daily and other media.
