科研活动

长期从事新材料的制备理论和应用技术研究,如纳米材料,3D打印粉末,薄膜材料,形状记忆合金,储能材料,高纯硅基材料,光电转换材料,钙钛矿材料,矿物材料等;材料加工技术如冶炼,铸造,凝固,提纯,微波处理等;材料微观结构分析表征,性能测试分析与模拟计算等。成功地研发出了多项技术和产品。

在石英砂的提纯研究中,发现了一个新型低成本绿色捕收剂聚醚胺(PEA),该捕收剂对环境友好,而且可以在零度到室温均呈现为液态,能够方便地溶于水,克服了传统的捕收剂难溶于水,对浮选温度敏感的问题,它还可以在pH 2 - pH10的范围内,特别是自然pH条件下对石英砂进行有效捕收;在此基础上,提出了利用PEA捕收剂的吸附量与石英砂的杂质含量有关的现象,采用浮选方法来将石英砂进行纯度分级的原理,成功地将天然石英砂分级成为不同纯度的几组,其中的高纯组的纯度要显著高于原矿的纯度,为石英砂纯度的提高找到了一个新的途径,在工业上具有良好的应用前景;还发明了通过长短碳链的胺类阳离子捕收剂组合浮选,实现了中性条件下有效分离石英与长石,云母等杂质,能够有效地提高石英砂的纯度,降低提纯生产成本,而且整个提纯过程没有废酸等污染物质排放,技术和产品均具有良好的市场前景。并且还将PEA成功地用于太阳电池硅片切割废硅粉中高纯硅粉和碳化硅粉的浮选分离回收;还将其用于协助硅粉表面进行有机物碳包覆,提高了碳包覆的均匀性,大幅度提高了硅碳复合负极材料的电化学性能。还提出利用微波处理和混合酸酸浸方法提纯石英砂,Fe的去除率一次处理可以达到99.94%,这是目前已知最高的Fe去除率,还利用微波处理大幅度降低了石英砂高温氯化处理的温度

还利用我们提出的新型石英砂提纯理论,在国内首次从国产花岗岩中成功地分离出了具有与美国尤尼明石英砂相似的微观结构,纯度达到4N7,羟基含量低的高纯石英砂,为突破我国高纯石英砂领域“卡脖子”技术难题带来了曙光。

在硅碳负极的制备技术研究中提出了新型硅相生长理论,采用Si合金法结合特殊的生长控制技术成功地制备了微米尺度多层级多维硅粉,用该硅粉制备的硅碳材料用于锂电池负极,其稳定循环储锂容量获得了大幅度的提升,同时材料的循环寿命,倍率和抗团聚性能得到显著的提高,制备的硅碳负极材料在1mg/cm2的负载量,500mA/g电流密度下的循环1000圈,依然保留1000 mAhg-1的可逆比容量,显著优于目前市面上的采用硅氧粉体或者CVD纳米硅粉制备的硅碳负极材料,具有大规模低成本生产的良好前景。

在硅料提纯的理论研究中,提出了Al-Si合金法凝固偏析提纯的表观偏析系数的概念和计算方法并用于提纯动力学的研究,证明了动力学因素是控制提纯效率的一个关键参数,在该理论的指导下,通过研究提纯时的温度场,熔体流场,电磁场以及杂质元素的耦合交互作用,进一步发现了几种新的提纯机制,关键杂质元素BP的提纯效率得到显著提高,均大幅度打破了行业的提纯效率记录并突破了Al-Si-X三元体系热力学提纯效率理论极限,为太阳能级硅料生产核心技术的创新与突破打下了坚实基础。2007年,在加拿大参与创立6N Silicon Inc.公司并担任首席科学家,发明了Al-Si合金法提纯硅料时初晶硅高效分离及废酸综合利用技术,使生产成本大幅度降低,在世界上首次实现Al-Si合金法提纯6N纯度硅料技术的产业化生产,该技术在加拿大获得多个奖项和北美主流媒体的广泛关注和报导,还发明了高纯硅材料的快速低成本检测技术,5年累计检测10万个硅材料样品,检测数量要远超同行的其它实验室,生产的高纯硅料产品质量是全球冶金法硅料产品中质量最好,品质最稳定的。

已经在Separation and Purification Technology, Small, Chemical Engineering Journal, Energy Storage Materials, Waste Management, Minerals Engineering等行业著名期刊上发表SCI论文100余篇,并申请发明专利20余项。
