Research Areas

1) atmospheric organics (volatile organic compounds or VOCs, and organic aerosols) and their evolution in the ambient; 
2) chamber simulation of gas-phase evolution of VOCs and multi-phase formation of secondary organic aerosols (SOA); 
3) land-atmosphere exchange of trace gases that are important to air quality and climate.
