Research Interests
In recent years I'm interested in the research on urban growth pattern, urban morphology, and ecological-environmental impacts of urban spatial expansion in the Yangtze River Delta.
Also I have undertaken the MOST-UNEP cooperation project on water resource in Africa since 2008. The water quality change with landuse and urbanization in the African countries is also one of my recent interests.
