Currently Prof. Yu-Fei Wang is the vice-chairman of Botanical Society of Beijing. Now he is one of Board Members of Journal of Systematics and Evolution.

He has published over 50 papers in SCI journals such as Global Change Biology, Earth-Science Reviews, American Journal of Botany, etc.; In 2004, he was awarded the second prize of Beijing science and technology (the second person who completed).
