General

Ning Ye is currently a professor and group leader at Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences (FJIRSM, CAS). He is the director of Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials Chemistry and Physics, CAS, and the vice chairman of Crystal Growth and Materials Sub-Committee, The Chinese Ceramic Society.

Education

He earned his B.Sc. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1993 and his Ph.D. from FJIRSM in 1998 (Director: Academician C. T. Chen). 

Experience

From 2001 to 2004, he was a postdoctoral research associate at National University of Singapore, University of Texas at Austin and Oregon State University where he collaborated with Prof. Douglas. A. Keszlerin. In 2004, he joined the faculty at FJIRSM.
