研究领域

酵母菌生物多样性、分子系统学、进化生物学和酿造微生物组。在酵母菌资源调查、分类鉴定和菌种保藏的基础上,重点进行下述方面的研究:1) 酵母菌系统发育、物种分化与形成机制;2) 酿酒酵母菌群体遗传学和群体基因组学;3) 工业酵母菌优良发酵和抗逆性能的分子机制与遗传改造;4) 传统酿造微生物组学。

工作经历

        主要从事酵母菌生物多样性、分子系统学和进化生物学以及酿造微生物组研究。在酵母菌资源调查、分类鉴定和菌种保藏的基础上,重点进行下述方面的研究:1) 酵母菌系统发育、物种分化与形成机制;2) 酿酒酵母菌群体遗传学和群体基因组学;3) 工业酵母菌优良发酵和抗逆性能的分子机制与遗传改造;4) 传统酿造微生物组学。 已发表酵母菌新纲3个、新目5个、新科20个、新属58个、新种190余个和新组合340余个;重建了酵母菌重要类群的分类系统;发现了白念珠菌致病类型、药物敏感性和基因型之间的对应性;确立了酿酒酵母菌的中国/东亚起源说和拉格啤酒酵母菌的青藏高原起源说。
        已在国际核心(SCI)期刊发表研究论文近100篇。参与国际酵母菌系统学研究领域权威专著和工具书《The Yeasts, a Taxonomic Study》第5版(Elsevier,2011)的编著,并以共同主编身份,组织该工具书下一版的编著。
        曾任中国科学院真菌学国家重点实验室副主任和国际微生物学会联盟(IUMS)真菌学部执委。现任中国菌物学会秘书长,国际酵母菌委员会委员,国际酵母菌系统学与命名委员会委员;国际食品真菌委员会委员;国际学术期刊《Mycoscience》《Yeast》《Mycology》和《Studies in Mycology》编辑或编委,《菌物学报》和《中国真菌学杂志》副主编,《微生物学报》、《菌物研究》和《生物学通报》等期刊编委。

        作为主持人已完成过多项国家自然科学基金项目和国家科技攻关项目,包括国家杰出青年科学基金项目:酵母菌资源与系统学;基金委重大国际合作项目:担子菌酵母的分子系统发育;基金委重大研究计划培育项目:酿酒酵母菌驯化群体的进化基因组学研究。

合作情况

        与日本、欧洲和美国同行开展了广泛的国际合作。与荷兰皇家艺术与科学院真菌多样性研究中心(CBS-KNAW Fungal Bioversity Center)酵母菌研究组建立了长期稳定的合作研究关系。双方的合作研究项目成功获得了中国国家自然科学基金委员会重大国际合作项目和荷兰皇家艺术与科学院中国交流项目的资助,合作其间双方研究组长定期短期互访,本实验室年轻研究人员每年可在CBS工作5个月。

        作为主要编辑之一,与国际酵母菌系统分类学研究领域的权威合作,共同编辑国际酵母菌研究领域的权威专著《The Yeasts》电子版 (http://www.theyeasts.org/page/Homepage)。

       通过承接企业委托研发项目和共建院士专家工作站等方式,与北京牛栏山酒厂、贵州茅台酒厂、山西汾酒厂、江苏今世缘酒厂和湖北安琪酵母公司等8家大型企业建立了合作研究关系,获得研发项目合同经费1760万元。
