Research Interests

I am interested to study soil hydrology, eco-hydrology, and soil and water conservation. My goal is to understand hydrological process and plant adaptation to water stress on rocky mountain areas based on the use of stable isotope techniques as measures of water use efficiency and tracers of water. I also pay attention to investigate the effects of land use change to soil properties, and understand the interactions between vegetation and hydrological processes, mostly in karst regions of southwest China.
